Bike Newport Presents: Bike Smart- A Rider Education Course May 16 (at the EKHSC) May 23 & 30 (Offsite) The weather is warming and more bikes are appearing on the roads. We also have seen a rise in the use of e-bikes. The need for safety education and training for safe and responsible use of all bikes is essential. Bike Smart is a comprehensive, three-part course. Attendees will watch videos, discuss, and answer questions to test their knowledge in Session 1, then move on to on-bike practice off-street in a large paved space in Session 2, and finish with a guided on-street ride in Session 3. This course is taught by a Licensed Cycling Instructor. Participants have access to a Bike Newport bike and helmet or can bring their own bike and helmet.
