The Newport Arboretum

Newport has long been home to some of the country’s finest tree collections and grandest landscapes. Join the Newport Arboretum in celebrating the addition of six newly accredited arboreta to our City of Arboreta.

Tours will be followed by the Evening of the Arboreta cocktail reception, celebrating the conservation and stewardship efforts of Newport’s first class of private arboreta. Join us for either the afternoon tour, evening reception or both, and help us to welcome these estates to the City of Arboreta.

Proceeds from the tour and reception will benefit the newly established Newport Arboretum Heritage Tree Nursery at Rogers High School. This unique learning opportunity will engage Newport High School students in the study, preservation, and propagation of Newport’s most precious and at-risk trees.
